Check that your case is charged.
Please ensure your charging case is charged itself. The LED lights on the front of your case indicate how much charge your case has, which will in turn charge your earphones. If no lights show on your case, this indicates that it required charging.
Make sure that the LED indicators on the earphones are flashing white whilst in the case. The earphone status light will pulse white when charging and will switch off when fully charged.
If the LEDs are not flashing, you may need to reposition them within the charging case to obtain a connection with the charging pins.
If one of the earphones is not working or not charging inside the case (no light on the earphone). It is possible that the earphone is not able to charge properly. Please check that the charging case is clean, and the earphone is properly seated inside the case. Check that the earbud tip is fitted correctly.
There should be no obstruction in the charging case stopping the earbud from being properly seated. Be sure to remove any obstruction or debris from the charging case and on and around the charging contacts. If there is sweat, liquid or obstruction on the charging contacts within the case, corrosion may occur. In this situation, please clean the charging terminal or earphones with a suitable cloth or alcohol cleaning pad before charging. Cotton buds can also be used to get into the charging case to clean gently around the charging pins and remove any obstructions.
If you have purchased the Eco (brown box packaged) version of the Melomania 1 then the charging case will come packaged with a clear plastic film inside. This clear plastic tab will need to be removed from the charging case to allow for the buds to make contact with the pins when they are in the case to begin charging.
Are your earphones responding?
If the earphones are in a charged case, they should breathe an illuminated light from the top. If they are not doing this, it could mean they are not properly charging in the case.
Please check that the charging case is clean, and the earphones are properly seated inside the case. There should be no obstruction in the case that is not letting the earphone getting in contact with the charging terminals.
If there is an obstruction inside, please use a cleaning pad or alcohol to clean it.
Make sure the earphones are not in standby mode.
Standby conserves the earphone battery when the earphones are out of the case and not in use. The earphones switch to standby when you remove both earphones from your ears for 20 minutes. To wake the earphones, insert both earphones in your ears and hold down the button.
If you have removed both earphones from the case and they both illuminate, however, one is not producing any audio, please place both earphones back in the case and close the lid.
Then reopen the case and remove them again. This should force them to reconnect with your device.
If one of the earphones is not working or not charging inside the case (no light on the earphone), it is possible that the earphone is not able to charge properly. Please check that the charging case is clean, and the earphone is properly seated inside the case. There should be no obstruction in the case that could affect the contact between the earphones and the charging terminals.
If there is an obstruction inside, please use a cleaning pad or alcohol to clean it.
If none of these solutions helps you fix your issue, we recommend factory resetting your earphones:
1. Place both headphones in the case.
2. Press and hold both buttons until the earphone status lights briefly turn blue.
3. At this point, you can release the buttons as the reset procedure is complete
4. The earphones will no longer remember any of the devices that have previously paired with them.
5. You will then need to follow the initial setup procedure from scratch including the manual Bluetooth pairing process, achieved by holding down the earphone buttons for 3 secs to enter pairing mode.
